It’s World Sleep Day on March 17th, and tech company Withings currently has two of its fantastic sleep tracking products discounted on Amazon. One that merges traditional watch with smart functionalities and another that tracks your sleep under your mattress.
WITHINGS SCANWATCH
The Withings ScanWatch is one of the nicest smart watches that I’ve seen. It differs from other smart watches from the likes of Apple and Google in the sense that it is primarily a traditional watch that has a smaller screen to track of the likes of sleep, heart rate and bloody oxygen levels. The big benefit of this is that its battery lasts up to a month rather than a day or less.
Amazon currently has it for $425 which is down from its $499 RRP, and absolutely a great deal if you’re wanting a smart watch that can track key health metrics and monitor your sleep without losing the look of a traditional watch.
The Scanwatch tracks your sleep cycles ranging from awake to light to deep to give you a sleep score that is comprised of duration, recovery, interruptions and regularity. It will also check for overnight breathing disturbances as well as your heart rate.
WITHINGS SLEEP ANALYSER
If you’re maybe not needing a smart watch, but want to monitor your sleep, the Withings sleep analyser simply goes under your mattress. It’s currently available for $149 which is $50 off the RRP.
Similarly to the ScanWatch, it can also detect your sleep cycles between deep, light and REM as well as any interruptions that you face whilst sleeping.
It also has the ability to detect sleep apnea without requiring to wear anything which is pretty significant. It also works as a home automation controller, so that you can set lights as an example to turn off or on when you get in or out of bed.
