Earlier this year, I reviewed the Withings ScanWatch which was a breath of fresh air in the smart watch space with its hybrid design and super long battery life.
Today, Withings has announced the successor, the Withings ScanWatch 2 as well as the ScanWatch Light.
The Withings ScanWatch 2 will perform all the same health measurements as the original including ECG, oxygen saturation and monitoring sleep quality, but also adds 24/7 body temperature tracking, female cycle tracking, heart rate variability and the automatic recognition of 40+ activities.
It keeps its 30-day battery life and cleverly chooses when to use these features to keep you informed about your health but also not drain battery life.
ScanWatch 2 (38 & 42 mm) will be available in Australia from the first half of 2024, priced at $699 AUD.
The Withings ScanWatch Light ScanWatch Light is the company’s most affordable smartwatch to date. It has all the same health features as the ScanWatch 2 except for 24/7 body temperature tracking.
ScanWatch Light, sized 37mm, will be available in Australia from the end of 2023, priced at $479 AUD.
