Xbox Cloud Gaming Is Coming To Amazon Fire TV Sticks

Finally!

Xbox has announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to Amazon Fire TV sticks. To my knowledge, this is the first way to play Xbox Cloud Gaming on your TV for those that don’t own a Samsung TV.

Xbox announced that it would work on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max as well as the Fire TV Stick 4K and obviously you’ll be able to connect an Xbox Series X|S controller as well as a DualSense/DualShock 4 controller as well, or likely any other Bluetooth controller you’ve got laying around too.

Xbox didn’t announce how quickly this would be available, but given the wording, it sounds like it’ll be available in the very near future.

I think that this is a great initiative, and the more places that people can take advantage of Xbox Cloud Gaming, the better for both consumers and Xbox. I’ve been a big advocate for it since it launched on Samsung TVs, and you can read my thoughts on that HERE. I know that most people probably know, but it’s quite amazing to boot up Cloud Gaming on another TV and have your save from your console there ready to go.

  • Sign in with your Microsoft account to play. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you’ll have instant access to hundreds of cloud-enabled games.
