Xbox has announced that Xbox Live Gold is no more. Starting in September, Xbox Game Pass Core will replace the service with subscribers moving over at no extra charge. Xbox Game Pass Core will cost $10.95 AUD per month or $79.95 AUD for a year (the same as Xbox Live Gold).
The main difference is that instead of Xbox Games With Gold adding two game each month, Xbox Game Pass Core will come with a collection of over 25 games that is added to 2-3 times a year.
Xbox Games With Gold will end on September 1st with Xbox Game Pass Core launching on September 17th. Any game collected with Game with Gold will remain in your library as long as you stay subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Core.
