Australian company espresso has announced their third portable monitor and it’s one to be extremely excited for.
The espresso 17 Pro is 17.3-inch portable monitor with a 4K resolution, 1 billion colour and 10-bit spectrum, 450 nits of brightness and a touch-screen. Just like other espresso displays, it is compatible with most devices with just a single USB-C connection.
To go along with this new high-end portable monitor, some new accessories have also been revealed. The espresso stand Pro clips magnetically (just like the original stand) but can now go to an 18-degree angle for drawing purposes and espresso Creator is a new paper-esque screen protector to help the writing/drawing experience.
Most excitingly though is the new espresso Charge. This is a 27,000 MaH power bank that connects to the bottom of the Stand Pro and can keep your monitor charged when you step away from your desk and take your espresso 17 Pro with you.
That’s not all though. Espresso has also announced Jot which is a new application that essentially sits on top of your apps and allows you to quickly mark-up documents or web pages seamlessly and put them straight back into your document.
I’ve actually already seen the espresso Pro and Jot in the flesh and it’s an extremely impressive advancement of what espresso had put out with its two previous portable monitors and Flow software.
ESPRESSO 17 PRO PRICE AND RELEASE DATE
The espresso 17 Pro is available to pre-order today with shipping to commence in November. Those that order the Studio bundle ($1,925 AUD) will get a free espresso Charge and those that order the Essentials bundle ($1,499 AUD) will get a free Stand Pro.
