Photos of what appears to be a white digital Xbox Series X have leaked courtesy of Exputer. Whilst we’ve know that an all-digital Xbox Series X has been likely on the way due to leaked FTC documents, it’s worth noting that this looks totally different to what was pictured in that presentation.
The pictures depict an Xbox Series X that looks identical to the current model except for a lack of a disc drive and the fact that it’s white whilst the photos pictured in the FTC documents pictured a cylindrical shape for the digital Xbox Series X which was codenamed Brooklin.

It’s said that the new Xbox Series X (in its newly seen form) will have an updated heatsink among other parts, but no major hardware changes. The previous reports suggested the refreshed Xbox Series X would have Wi-FI 6E, more storage, a USB-C front port and other changes, but it’s unclear if this is a totally different model or these plans were scrapped all together in favour of the current design.
It’s also said that the digital Xbox Series X will come in at a cheaper price point that it currently does. It’s unclear if the newer Xbox Series X design that was seen in documents late last year will see the light of day, but it feels like it won’t be too long before we see this minor Xbox Series X refresh.
Speaking of those FTC leaks, Phil Spencer said: “It is hard to see our team’s work shared in this way because so much has changed and there’s so much to be excited about right now, and in the future .. We will share the real plans when we are ready.”
