Samsung’s 2023 QD-OLED TV Range Will Feature A 77″ Model And A Massive 2,000 Nits Of Peak Brightness

Samsung has teased its 2023 QD-OLED technology ahead of its CES press conference later this week. After a successful first launch into the OLED TV market with its S95B earlier this year, Samsung has confirmed it’s taking things even further this year.

Not to be outdone by LG’s 2023 G3 panel which can apparently reach 1,800 nits in brightness, Samsung’s 2023 QD-OLED can apparently reach 2,000 nits of peak brightness which is a 25% increase over the 1,500 nits that the S95B could reach when it launched this year (although real world results were a little lower).

Samsung has confirmed it will add a 77″ version of its QD-OLED TV this year to sit alongside its 65″ and 55″ offerings. As it confirmed earlier today, new 34″ and 49″ QD-OLED monitors will also drop this year as well.

The company also confirmed that 2023 QD-OLED models would use up to 25% less power than last year’s models.
