Ahead of CES 2023 later this week, LG has today announced its OLED lineup for 2023. This year, we’re getting the G3, C3 and Z3.
The G3 Gallery OLED definitely features the biggest improvements with an even brighter display (LG says 70% brighter than a conventional OLED TV), thanks to the LG Brighter Booster Max technology. The TV will also feature no visible gap when mounted, much like Samsung’s high-end TVs.
The entire line-up including the C3, will include HDMI 2.1a which supports Quick Media Switching VRR, which basically takes away the momentary black screen when switching between sources on the TV.
All TVs include the new A9 AI Processor Gen6 which LG says will improve brightness and colour accuracy across the board, as well as virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from the TV’s build-in speaker systems.
All three OLED Evo TVs will also include a new form of WebOS has a redesigned user interface. LG mentioned a feature called Quick Cards which will apparently offer easy access to the content and services that you use most. It will also have personalised recommendations for every person that uses the TV.
We’d expect that these TVs will make their way to Australia in roughly April/May going off previous years, so there’s still a good amount of time to grab a deal on the LG CS which honestly, is fantastic value for money.
LG had previously revealed its high-end 2023 soundbar which will connect to all of these TVs via a bracket regardless of whether it’s being used on a stand or on the wall.
