ASUS Nitro Blaze 7

The Acer Nitro Blaze Has Been Revealed As The Latest Windows Handheld

Another one!

Acer is the latest large PC manufacturer to announce a handheld. It’s called the Acer Nitro Blaze 7 and it’s fairly similar to the likes of the ASUS ROG Ally and MSI Claw from the looks point of view.

It features a 7-inch 1080p IPS screen with a 144hz refresh rate, and interestingly, it’s a natively landscape screen as well. It has a Ryzen 7 8840HS chip, which is said to offer power improvements over the 7840 chip tahat so many other handhelds have.

It also has 16GB of 7500 MT/s memory, a 2TB SSd and a 50-watt-hour battery, so it’s slightly better than the original Ally, but not quite as good as the Ally X.

In terms of other design features, there’s not a lot outside of the standard shell, which has some pretty cool red markings around it. There’s no touchpads and no back buttons, but it does have two USB4 ports which is almost a necessity at this point.

In terms of price and release date, there’s not a lot on offer yet, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more. You can find out a bit ore about the device on the Acer website HERE.
