The PlayStation VR2 PC app has been detailed ahead of its release on August 7th on Steam. This will allow you to connect your PlayStation VR2 headset and controllers to Steam to allow you to use your PlayStation VR2 for playing PCVR games using Steam.
Obviously, when you’re connecting to your PC you won’t have access to the custom PS5 UI that allowed you to take control of the unit, so the Steam app will allow you to do the below things:
The PlayStation VR2 PC adaptor is also set to launch on August 7th for $95.95 AUD. As far as features that won’t work with PC – HDR, headset and haptic feedback, eye tracking and adaptive triggers all won’t be available at launch.
