HBO has dropped a second trailer for The Last Of Us and it takes us even further into the TV show that is inspired quite heavily by the original game.
This is without doubt the most revealing trailer for the show so far, showing off several key elements from the game including the snow segments, as well as quite a lot of dialogue between Ellie as played by Bella Ramsey and Joel as played by Pedro Pascal.
Interestingly enough, we also get to see our first look at Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson in the TV show. Ashley Johnson plays Anna, Ellie’s mother and Troy Baker is playing a member of David’s gang.
Whilst the new actors playing these characters take getting used to (especially once you start hearing some dialogue), Take On Me playing in the background, and just the general cinematography definitely is hitting the right spot so far.
Neil Druckmann also revealed this week that there would be moments cut from the original game that would be featured in the TV show, which should hopefully lead to some expanded character moments.
The Last Of Us will be playing on Foxtel and Binge on January 16th, 2023 which isn’t far away at all.
