MSI celebrated its 40th anniversary at Computex 2026 with a booth packed with new hardware, technology demos, and a look back at some of the products that helped shape the brand over the years. From powerful graphics cards and PC components to new gaming monitors, there was plenty on display for PC enthusiasts to check out. The booth was a mix of old and new, celebrating MSI’s journey while also showing where its hardware is heading next.

First up on the show floor, we got to see MSI’s latest GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards in action through a series of hands-on technology demos and product showcases. One of the standout products on display was the flagship GeForce RTX™ 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z, which is currently available in Australia and aimed at extreme gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. We also got a look at the limited-edition 40th Anniversary model, featuring a special design created to celebrate MSI’s milestone year.
The display also highlighted new features that could make their way into future MSI graphics card line-ups. While celebrating the brand’s legacy, MSI was equally focused on the future, showcasing innovations such as its Next-Gen Thermal Solution, designed to keep temperatures under control during demanding workloads, and its Safeguard Power Protection Solution, which aims to improve system stability and reliability. We saw both technologies demonstrated live, and they look like welcome additions that could help extend hardware longevity and provide consumers with greater peace of mind over the lifespan of their systems.

One of the more impressive ranges from MSI personally has to be the peripherals, something I haven’t really delved into during the past, at Computex 2026 – MSI is showing force by upping their game within this department.
MSI also showcased several upcoming keyboards on the show floor, including the MSI Strike Alloy TMR and Strike Nexus. The standout feature was the Strike Nexus’ detachable Smart Touch Display, which can be used to monitor system information or display custom content.

Another highlight was the MSI STRIKE 700 WIRELESS 8K HE Mechanical Keyboard. Featuring a CNC-machined aluminium chassis and Hall-effect magnetic switches, it delivered a premium typing experience with a solid, substantial feel. The keyboard felt incredibly responsive during the demo and looks set to be a strong contender in the growing high-performance keyboard market.
Another product in MSI’s peripheral lineup at Computex 2026 was the Versa Alloy Wireless gaming mouse. Weighing just 58g, this ultra-lightweight mouse features a premium magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis that feels fantastic in the hand while maintaining a sturdy, high-end feel. One of the biggest surprises was the click feel, with the Omron Optical Switches delivering a crisp and satisfying response that immediately stood out during our hands-on time. As someone who has used a wide range of gaming keyboards and mice over the years, I came away genuinely impressed by what MSI has put together here and am looking forward to spending more time with it.

Last but not least was MSI’s new RadiX WiFi 7 gaming router lineup, which was on display at Computex 2026. The range includes the RadiX BE19000 NAS Lite Edition, RadiX BE9400, and RadiX BE3600, all designed with gamers in mind. A key focus of the showcase was MSI Gaming Suite, which helps prioritise and optimise gaming traffic to deliver the best possible speeds and lower latency during gameplay.
The flagship RadiX BE19000 NAS Lite Edition was particularly interesting, featuring a built-in M.2 SSD slot that allows users to add storage and use the router as a lightweight NAS solution for network file sharing and backups. Overall, the networking lineup looked impressive and further demonstrates MSI’s commitment to the gaming market by delivering products that aim to improve the overall gaming experience both on and off the PC.
After spending time at the booth, it’s evident that MSI isn’t content with simply being known for components and systems. The company is continuing to invest heavily in its broader ecosystem such as networking and peripherals plus also solidifying their space within the graphics card range. Many of the products we saw at Computex 2026 left a strong first impression. If this showcase is any indication of what’s to come, MSI’s 40th anniversary is not just a celebration of where the brand has been, but a statement of where it’s heading next.
