OLEDs are definitely the theme of CES 2023, with OLED screens even making their way into controllers.
Asus has announced the ROG Raikiri Pro Xbox/PC controller which has a 1.3 inch OLED display above the Xbox button that can show you custom animations, battery life, your microphone status, swapping profiles and more.
There’s two buttons at the top of the controller for controller profile switching and button remapping and joystick sensitive/trigger modes/dead zones are also all customisable with a PC app.
When it comes to connectivity the Raikiri Pro takes things further than most other controllers with three ways to connect. There’s bluetooth, a low-latency 2.4GHz RF mode and USB-C.
It’s a bit of a weird one because whilst this is clearly Xbox branded with an Xbox button on the front, it’s only mentioned that you can connect to Xbox using USB-C (wired), with Asus describing the Raikiri Pro as a PC controller primarily.
