Audio Technica has announced its new AT2040USB which will land in Australian retail stores today for $299 AUD. The new microphone is promised to provide broadcast quality performance with its highly directional, hypercardioid pickup pattern. It also has a high-quality metal body as well as an integrated shock mount to minimise noise and vibration.
The microphone has a USB-C connection and a built-in headphone jack for real-time monitoring as well as a mute button that is silent to touch.
