Amazon Alexa has today announced that it is bringing the iconic M&Ms characters (Red & Yellow) to Alexa devices in a new “Alexa, trick or treat” activation.
This was designed locally in Australia in collaboration with Mars Wrigley and will involve content and giveaways over the coming weeks and months.
All you have to do is say “Alexa, trick or treat” to an Alexa enabled device (or download the app on your phone) and then you’ll either get a trick or a treat. A trick will be a prank played by Red and Yellow M&Ms whilst the treat will will be the chance to win 1 of 100s of $5 discounts on M&M’s Party Buckets.
Everyone that asks Alexa whether it wants a Trick or Treat will go in the running to win a major prize including M&M’s confectionary and a smart home bundle with Echo devices, Ring doorbell with limited-edition Halloween Holiday faceplate, smart bulbs, and a Fire TV Stick (valued at up to $1,500)
