Final Cut Pro And Logic Pro Are Finally Coming To The iPad

Finally!

Apple has today announced that its much-loved Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro apps will come to the iPad on May 23rd. It’ll only be available on iPad models with M1 Chips or better like the recently released M2 iPad Pro that we reviewed here.

Unlike being one off purchases on Mac, on iPad, you’ll pay $7.99 AUD per app per month or $59 AUD per month for the year.

Final Cut Pro will allow you to record, edit, finish and share all from your iPad with a new touch interface and tools that have been designed for use with the iPad’s multi-touch gestures. You’ll also be able to live draw onto projects using the Apple Pencil, including the ability to skim footage with Apple Pencil hover.

Similarly, Logic Pro also will feel familiar but includes a brand new touch interface and has new features like a new sound browser that helps utilise sounds as soon as you need them.
