The long-awaited Apple iPhone 15 event has been revealed. As it does every year, we can expect to see new iPhones as well as new Apple Watches announced and then subsequently released a week later. The theme of the showcase is Wonderlust, so it’ll be interesting to see what that means.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE IPHONE 15 EVENT?
This is set to be a big year for iPhone. We can pretty much certainly say that we will be getting rid of the lightning port with the iPhone 15 and going USB-C which is a big deal as it’s the first time the iPhone won’t use a proprietary port. This should also make for faster charging.
All models of the iPhone 15 are also said to include the Dynamic Island as well with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max said to have a titanium frame and thinner bezels giving it the premium edge over the standard iPhone 15.
The other big rumour is that the iPhone 15 Pro will come with an action button that will replace the mute button and can be replaced to actions such as taking a screenshot or opening an app.
The camera is said to receive big upgrades in the Pro model too with an up to 6x optical zoom thanks to a periscope lens.
Lastly, for the first time in a long time it’s said that Apple will be dropping the gold colour for a titan grey, which may just be hinted at in the invite that Appls sent out to the event.
WHEN WILL THE IPHONE 15 RELEASE?
We’d say fairly confidently based on past releases that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will release on Friday, September 22nd, with pre-orders going live on Friday, September 15th.
