Keychron has announced its new keyboard brand Lemokey and the first keyboard is called the Lemokey L3 which is a full aluminium keyboard with gamers in mind.
The keyboard has launched on Kickstarter (and already smashed its goal of $50,000 USD) and it’s scheduled to start shipping to backers in September before it’ll presumably launch in more widespread manner later on. It’ll come in black, silver and blue and starts at $189 USD (~$288 AUD) for barebones or $209 USD (~$318 AUD) for built. You can grab it HERE.
In typical Keychron fashion, the keyboard is fully customisable with 91 customisable keys, QMK/VIA firmware for advanced wireless gaming performance and a 1000Hz polling rate for super low latency.
The L3 has a rotary encoder knob and a whole row of macro keys that can be customised using software. You’ll be able to connect up to three devices to the keyboard.
Obviously, being a Keychron key, the mechanical switches are all hot-swappable and users can supply their own if they’re buying the barebones version of this keyboard.
The keyboard also has a double-gasket mount design which allows for better comfort and a quieter typing experience. As far as battery life goes, it’s rated at 200 hours over 2.4Ghz with RGB off.
The revolution starts! The Lemokey L3 is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter😁. The L3 is a full metal custom gaming keyboard that has 2.4 GHz connectivity with a 1000 Hz polling rate.
