The LG C4/G4 OLED TVs Have Been Revealed Bringing 4K/144Hz Goodness

144hz goodness!

LG has announced its OLED TV lineup for 2024 ahead of CES 2024 and it includes the C4, B4, G4 and the M4 signature series.

The biggest improvement is the addition of 4K/144hz in the C4/G4 series which brings both TVs in-line with the Samsung S95C OLED that was released last year.

The G4 will come in 55″,65″, 77″, 83″ and 97″ although the larger 97″ won’t have the brighter MLA technology. The C4 will come in 42″, 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″ with just the standard EVO boosting technology including the 42″/48″ versions.

The LG B4 sounds like it might be the new budget OLED king with a 120Hz refresh rate as well as four HDMI 2.1 ports. It’ll come in a smaller 48-inch size as well as 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch.

These new TVs have a new WebOS experience that has tailored user profiles including watch history and recommendations. Those that have a 2022 OLED TV will receive the latest version of WebOS as a free update.

The new G4 is equipped with a new Alpha 11 AI processor which provides a 70% improvement on graphic performance and 30 percent faster processor speed compared to the predecessor.

The entire OLED range also comes with upgraded AI upscaling and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro which improves brightness and contrast.
