Meta has announced that Meta Connect will be happening on September 27th and September 28th (28th/29th in Australia). No exact times have been revealed as of yet.
Day one will feature a keynote with Mark Zuckerberg, which is sure to bring us the Meta Quest 3 details ahead of its release this Spring.

Day two will bring some product sneak peeks which is interesting, given obviously we’ve already had the Meta Quest 3 revealed to be coming this year. It’s unclear what the future slate of products look like (if it relates to VR/AR at all).
WHEN IS META CONNECT 2023 HAPPENING
Meta Connect 2023 will be happening on September 27th and September 28th. Times are to be confirmed.
META QUEST 3 DETAILS SO FAR
Just as a reminder, we know that the Meta Quest 3 will be priced at $829.99 AUD when it releases in Spring and will likely release in October or November going off the dates of Meta Connect.
The actual unit will be 40% slimmer than the Meta Quest 2 which should make for a much more comfortable headset. The controllers look extremely different, dropping the outer rings and also adding the TruTouch haptics that were found in the Touch pro controllers this year.
The most exciting advancement is the fact that the Meta Quest 3 has dual 4MP RGB colour cameras, meaning that it’ll provide mixed reality experiences. Meta says that it has 10x more pixels in passthrough compared to that of the Meta Quest 2.
