After it was teased late last week, MSI has now revealed the MSI Claw. There will be three models ranging from $699 USD ($~1,047 AUD) to $799 USD ($1,200 AUD), so roughly $100-200 more than the ASUS ROG Ally seems likely.
As predicted, it’s the first to be powered by the Intel Core Ultra Processor with the new Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H. ARC graphics up to 8 Xe cores and advanced XeSS technology. It’s said to delivery twice the graphical performance of the previous generation and offer smooth gameplay across a range of titles at 1080p in medium.
As far as storage and memory go, it has 1 NVME SSD Slot as well as 16GB of DDR5 memory onboard as well. It comes with a Thunderbolt 4 port, a MicroSD reader and a power button with a finger print sensor.
The MSI Claw features a 7-inch 1080p 120hz touchscreen display, and it has a 53Whr battery which is said to delivery a two hour battery life with a full workload. It will also incorporate MSI Cooler Boost technology with dual fans and heat pipes to dissipate heat.
The device will come with MSI Center M UI which has quick settings, a game launcher and instant platform access and will support the MSI App player to play both Windows and Android games.
