Samsung OLED 2023

Samsung‘s 2023 S95C/S90C OLED TV Australian Prices Have Been Revealed Alongside Full 2023 TV Range

Bigger and brighter!

Following on from its Neo QLED line launching a few weeks ago in Australia, Samsung has announced the launch of the rest of its 2023 TV range including the much anticipated Samsung S95C/S90C OLED TVs that are set to improve on Samsung’s first OLED TV offering from last year.

SAMSUNG 2023 OLED RANGE

Without doubt the Samsung S95C OLED is the TV to watch this year. It brings a uniform, 11.2mm display thickness, thanks to Samsung’s One Connect box which wasn’t on the TV last year.

The panel is said to be 2,000 nits bright which is quite a bit higher than the 1,500 nits of the S95B last year. As far as other improvements, there’s now 144Hz support as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro

SAMSUNG 2023 NEO QLED/QLED RANGE

When it comes to Samsung’s Neo QLED range in 2023, there’s some decent improvements there too.

The flagship 4K QN95C and 8K QN900C are now even brighter with more dimming zones. Samsung says that the dimming zones have been quadrupled, as well as 14-bit processing which will essentially eliminate blooming.

The big feature in the 2023 line of Neo QLED line TVs is a new  Auto HDR Remastering feature. This uses AI deep learning technology to analyse and apply real-time HDR effects to SDR content, on a scene-by-scene basis. Obviously, we’ll need to wait and see how good this works, but we’d have to believe it’ll do a decent job given it’s Samsung’s killer feature for 2023.
