After revealing its speaker line earlier this year, SteelSeries has now dropped its Alias microphone line.
It includes two products: the standard Alias microphone which is a USB microphone with 24bit/48khz audio, a 5-stage LED indicator with mute and real-time mic monitoring.
It will cost $399 AUD when it releases in Australia later this year, but you can purchase it on the SteelSeries website now for $199 USD (~$339 AUD)
The Alias Pro is where it’s really at though. It’s an XLR microphone that comes with its own XLR Stream Mixer with two USB ports for dual PC output. It also integrates into Sonar software for Drag ‘N’ Drop audio routing, with streamers able to customise dial and button assignments to mute and mix specific audio channels.
The whole Alias Pro XLR setup will cost $699 AUD when it releases in Australia later this year, but you can purchase it on the SteelSeries website now for $349 USD (~$553 AUD).
