The 2024 Model Polestar 2 Adds A Bunch Of Great Features

An EV to watch!

Polestar has announced the 2024 version of its popular Polestar 2 and it adds a bunch of great features, most of which are extras on the current Polestar 2 model.

Firstly, safety features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts now come standard instead of being an expensive inclusion. Other features include a surround-view camera, side parking sensors, a wireless phone charging pad and auto-dimming side mirrors.

The new Polestar 2 single motor has a new power output of 220 kW (increased from 170 kW) with the 0-100km/h sprint time reduced 1.2 seconds thanks to its now 490 Nm performance (up from 330 Nm).

As far as range goes, all versions of the Polestar 2 will now last longer thanks to larger and improved batteries as well as the optimisation of power delivered. Charging rates are now 205 kW DC for long range batteries and 135 kW for the standard range battery. Emissions have also been lowered from previous versions, which is going to be important to those in the electric space.

The 2024 Model Polestar 2 will launch later this year with orders set to open in Australia around April. You can find the full announcement HERE.
