Apple has today revealed the iPhone Duo, it’s first foldable phone that is absolutely stunning.
On the outside, it has a 5.4-inch outer Super XDR OLED display and it has a 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR OLED Display. Both displas are 120hz and have up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness but the inside display has a nano-texture finish to reduce glare and it also has a hidden under display camera too which means that it is totally crease-free with nothing to interrupt that gorgeous big display.
It has Apple’s new A20 Pro chipset and as far as cameras go it has a 48MP Dual Fusion Camera system with a 48MP Fusion main lens and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide lens with up to 2x optical quality zoom. It also has a 12MP centre stage front camera and that Facetime camera under the inner screen.
There’s a bunch of special camera features including Duo Preview which shows the person on the outer display, Smart Take which detects when everyone is available and takes the photo and Kid Cue to get kid’s attention.
Obviously being a foldable, there’s a lot of new software enhancements including the ability to use the bottom half of the display to control video playback or take photos.
As far as the battery goes, it has 31 hours of video playback using the inner display or up to 44 hours using the outer display and supports MagSafe charging and can be charged in up to 50% in 20 minutes over wired.

The iPhone Duo is available in Star White and Night Sky with pre-orders starting on Friday, October 16th at 10:00pm AEST and it will release on October 23rd
