Not to be overshadowed by the Apple Vision Pro launch, Meta has just added something pretty massive in the new V62 update.
Those using the Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest Pro will be able to view sptial videos shot on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max on their devices. These can be uploaded using the Meta iPhone app to view on your device.
It’s also been revealed that the update brings gamepad support for browsers including the DualSense controller PS4 that can be connected over Bluetooth or USB-C to play games such as within the Xbox Cloud Gaming app.
Not too dissimilar to the Apple Vision Pro, the latest update also adds new gestures including looking down at a palm and doing a short pinch to hide and show the universal menu or a long pinch to recenter the display.
The update also adds live streaming to Facebook and YouTube Live streaming as well, for those wanting to show off their VR antics.
The Meta Quest 3 is available from Amazon for $799 with free delivery. You can still get Asgard’s Wrath 2 for free with any order.
