The PS5 Pro went up in price a few months ago to $1,400 AUD, but that hasn’t stopped it selling out following the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal.
At the time of writing, there is no major online store where the PS5 Pro is in stock and this includes JB Hi-Fi, Amazon, EB Games, Big W and Target which all either show the PS5 Pro as out of stock or not on their website at all.
Similarly, speaking to several retail stores and chatting to people in our Facebook groups has shown us that since the Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay reveal over a week ago, the PS5 Pro has been impossible to find in stores as well leading people to go to the second hand market, but even then its scarce.
We’re trying to find out what shipments look like in the lead-up to Grand Theft Auto 6, but basically if you want a PS5 Pro for Grand Theft Auto 6, you should grab one the next time you see it in stock and can track it at the below retailers:

In most cases that means a 4K resolution with a buttery smooth 60 FPS, but thanks to PSSR this feels like only the beginning of what’s possible.
