It’s expected that the Google Pixel 7a will be announced at Google I/O in May, but a prototype of the device has appeared online with another device also ending up on eBay earlier this week.
There’s not a lot of surprises when it comes to the Google Pixel 7a. In photos of the device provided by Zing News, it follows in the footsteps of the Google Pixel 7/7 Pro from a design point of view, but it has a noticeably thicker bezel than these devices.
The device that has now been locked by Google had 128GB of storage and 8GB of ram (up from 6GB in the 6a). The device also had a 90Hz display although it isn’t clear if this will make it to the final version. It also had two 12MP cameras.
Otherwise, it has familiar features such as a 6.1″ display, a single sim slot and USB-C charging, so pretty much to be expected from what we saw in the Google Pixel 6a.
It’s expected that Google will reveal the Pixel 7a at I/O in May alongside the Google Pixel Fold and also the long-awaited Google Pixel tablet.
