LG announced its full 2024 OLED range today featuring larger 83-inch C4 and G4 TVs with 4K/144hz capability, but the one that caught my eye was the B4 OLED TV.
Whilst the improvements to the C4 seem modest, the B4 will be the one to watch. It doesn’t have the brighter Evo technology, but it does have a lot of updates to make it a lot better than the B3.
Firstly, it comes in a new 48-inch size along with 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch, but it also now comes with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports instead of the 2 that were included in the B3 meaning that all ports can take advantage of 4K and 120HZ with technology such as VRR.
The Virtual Surround Sound has also been improved to 9.1.2 channels, it has an A8 processor and but will come with an updated WebOS as well.
Hopefully, all these improvements doesn’t mean that it comes with a bumped up price point, as if it stays at its current price, it’ll absolutely be the easy entry level OLED to recommend if you’re not going for a G4.
We’ll let you know when we have concrete release details on the B4 OLED, but for now you can follow all of our CES 2024 coverage HERE.
