Now that working from home is coming to an end and working whilst traveling and going between home and office is becoming more prominent, I was ever so intrigued to check out Logitech Casa in order to save my neck whilst using my laptop (which I use 24/7 whilst working).
This is a nifty little product that looks like a book from the outside, but houses a wireless Logitech Casa keyboard, Logitech Casa track pad as well with the outside component called Casa Book acting as a laptop stand. Whilst on the heavy side to take with you everywhere, I’ve been using it every day whether it be taking it into the office, or just using it whilst working on my dining room table, and it’s fantastic.
Just like other products in the MX range, both the mouse and the keyboard as super intuitive to get connected. There’s three Bluetooth presets so that you can share the Casa around or connect multiple devices, and the devices connect to the Logi Options app which is fantastic for changing settings and adding shortcuts, even going as far as letting you change shortcuts depending on the app that you’re using.

As far as the Casa Keys keyboard goes, it’s a good one with it having Logitech’s signature flat keys that are great to use. There’s also a number of shortcuts including the Emoji button, a button to mute your mic, a screenshot button and your regular multimedia controls.
The Casa Touch trackpad is equally great to use with it being a generous size, given this is a portable package. It’s probably not as responsive as the Mac trackpad when trying to utilise multi-touch displays but when you’re out and about, and want to prop your laptop up it more than suffices.
In terms of battery life, I haven’t had to charge either device yet and I’ve been using them for months, with the keyboard rated for up to 5 months of use and the Touch rated to up to 3 weeks of use respectively.
As far as the actual pop-up desk itself goes, it simply flips open, and folds onto itself with a little magnetic strip that keeps it into place. It’s fairly sturdy with it only really falling down when I was trying to move it with my laptop on it. It lifts your laptop up to a decent eye level so that you don’t feel like you’re straining your neck looking down. I wouldn’t recommend it as a permanent desk solution but for shorter bursts it’s absolutely perfect.
If you’re somebody that works off primarily off a laptop, and likes to move around a lot without having a stationed setup, I highly recommend the Logitech Casa as it just allows you to work from wherever without sacrificing your posture, which I’m all too guilty of whilst working from the office or anywhere other than my main desk.
