Sony has today announced three new products including the new a6700, the ECM-M1 shotgun microphone as well as the FE 70-200MM F4 Macro G OSS II lens.
SONY A6700 CAMERA
The new a6700 APS-C mirrorless camera and it has a bunch of new features that have previously only been included in high-end cameras.
The a6700 has a 26MP sensor for stills and is capable of shooting 4K/120p video as well as 1080p/240hz video. It brings over the AI-driven, auto-framing that is found in the likes of the Sony ZV-E1 and other high-end Sony cameras as well an active mode for more stable footage.
It also has a brand new touch-operable, vari-angle LCD monitor as well as a new switching dial for going between still images, video and S&Q modes.

SONY ECM-M1 MICROPHONE
The new Sony ECM-M1 is the first shotgun microphone with eight selectable audio recording modes. The modes include: Super-directional, unidirectional, omnidirectional, super-directional (front/rear), super directional (rear), super directional (front/rear) seperate, stereo and ultra-directional.
It also has an internal digital noise cut filter as well as a low-cut filter to reduce wind noise or the hum of air conditioning.

SONY FE 70-200MM F4 Macro G OSS II
Lastly, the Sony FE 70-200MM F4 Macro G OSS II lens is a new telephoto lens that ranges from 70mm to 200mm with an F4 maximum aperture.
