Months after 4K Sony’s InZone M9 monitor dropped Sony has now released the InZone M3 Gaming Monitor which is a 27″ monitor that has a 1080p resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate.
The M3 is a cheaper version of the high-end 4K monitor and seems a lot more targeted at casual gamers and PC gamers alike. It has a 1ms response time, 16:9 aspect ratio and support for HDR 400. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, a Display 1.4 port and a USB-C power port as well as three USB-A downstream ports.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that the 4K/144Hz InZone M9 monitor (and M3 to a lesser degree) are perfect PS5 companion with Full Array Local Dimming as well as Auto HDR tone mapping and two HDMI 2.1 ports, neither monitor has been confirmed for an Australian release.
It’s unclear if these monitors will come to Australia in 2023, despite the fact that the entire InZone headset line made its way to Australia very soon after they launched in the US last year.
