It’s been revealed that the latest and most innovative AYANEO products to date, the AYAENO FLIP DS, the AYANEO Slide and the AYANEO AM02 are the latest AYANEO handhelds/mini PC to come to Australian retailers.
The products are all listed at different retailers with EB Games seemingly having the AYANEO Flip DS and AM02 exclusively whilst JB Hi-FI has the AYANEO Slide, and Amazon having all three devices. The AYANEO Slide is out now whilst the other two will release on May 23rd.
The AYANEO Flip DS will cost $1,499.95 at Amazon. It will come in one version and that is the one with the 7840 process with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD.
The second screen will be able to be used for launching apps, showing AYASpace and showing secondary gameplay footage. Interestingly, the device will come with an OCulink port which is a 63GBPS which is faster than Thunderbolt 4. In what’s also a first for AYANEO the Flip will have an optical fingertip mouse that should make for getting around Windows easier.
The AYANEO Slide will have a 512GB SSD, 16GB of memory and a AMD Ryzen 7840 U processor and will cost $1,449 AUD and is available for pre-order from Amazon.
The huge difference with the AYANEO Slide is the fact that the screen slides up to reveal a full ergonomic keyboard, which is actually great as it solves one of the biggest issues that I’ve had with Windows handhelds to date which is the on-screen keyboard.
The AYANEO AM02 Mini PC will come with the 7840 processor, 16GB of memory and a 512GB. It will cost $1,099 AUD and is available for pre-order from Amazon.
The coolest part of the device is absolutely its 4-inch display which goes between four different screens showing current FPS and internal metrics, the clock/weather, an adjustment screen to adjust sound, and a custom screen that can show graphics.
I recently reviewed the AYANEO AM02 saying: “The AYANEO AM02 is a fantastic little mini PC both in design and function. Not only does it feel super innovative with its secondary screen, it’s also great for playing gaming, emulation and general productivity.”
